Vacuum nanoelectronics is receiving attention from the general public!

A recent article in the New York Times described the work of Prof. Axel Scherer’s group (from Caltech) on ultrasmall vacuum tubes. The Caltech researchers (Max Jones, Daniil Lukin and Axel Scherer) will be presenting some of their work at IVNC this year. Check out talk # FE4.C1 on Wednesday afternoon in the program.

We will also have several other talks on miniaturized vacuum electronic devices, such as a plenary talk on Wednesday morning by Dr. Meyya Meyyappan of the NASA Ames Research Center.
